우리 교회는 2015년 9월에 시작한 대학 캠퍼스 내에 세워지는 교회입니다.
2017년 11월 미국 장로교단의 1001NWC(New Worship Community) Seed Grant를 받으면서 럿거스 대학 캠퍼스에서
시작한 교회입니다. 그리고 미국 장로교단 동북대회(Synod of the Northeast)의 Innovation Fund인 EGC(Emerging
Gospel Community) Grant와 1001NWC Investment Grant를 받아 청년들이 중심이 되는 교회로
성장하고 있습니다.

The Moving Church began in September 2015 as a campus ministry. In November 2017
it was established as a church on campus, with a 1001 New Worship
Community (NWC) Seed Grant from the Presbyterian Church (PC), USA.
Additionally, thanks to having received an EGC (Emerging Gospel Community) grant from
the innovation fund of the Synod of the Northeast, as well as a 1001 NWC Investment Grant,
our church has been able to grow into a young adult centered church.

Our Church’s Vision
“우리는 그가 만드신 바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니
이 일은 하나님이 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라” (에베소서 2:10)
“너희는 그리스도의 몸이요 지체의 각 부분이라” (고린도전서 12:27)
우리 교회의 비전은 젊은이들과 함께 합니다. 캠퍼스 사역을 하면서 우리가 느끼게 된 것은 젊은이들이 교회의 중심이 되는
교회의 필요였습니다. 조금 늦더라도 젊은이들이 하나님을 체험하면서 옹기종기 모여 만들어 가는 교회 입니다.
내가 있는 모든 곳에서 그리스도인 답게 책임지며 서로 협력하고 도우며, 그리스도의 사랑으로 나누고,
서로를 위해 기도하며 세워가는 교회 공동체입니다.
움직이는 교회는 한 사람 한 사람이 그리스도의 몸을 이루며 그 분의 한 지체로서
건물 중심이 아닌 사람 중심인 예수님 제자로서 삶을 살아내는 젊은이들의 움직임입니다.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared
in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1Corinthians 12:17)
Our vision is concerned with young adults. In creating our campus ministry, we felt a need for
a church centered upon young adults. Thus, we have created a church where young people may gather
to experience God.
It is the church community, established with the idea that
all members have the responsibility, as Christians, to cooperate with and help each other,
sharing the love of Christ, wherever they are, while praying for each other.
Our Moving Church is a movement of young people who
together form the body of Christ, as they live their lives.

“우리는 하나님의 동역자들이요 너희는 하나님의 밭이요 하나님의 집 이니라”
“너희는 너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐” (고린도 전서 3:9,16)
우리는 전공한 전공분야에서, 일상의 삶 속에서 “예수 그리스도의 장성한 분량”에 이르도록 노력합니다.
서로 경쟁하지 않고 서로 도우며 더불어 같이 갑니다. 예수그리스도 안에서 사랑의 법칙으로 용서하며 살아 갑니다.
건물 안 교회 생활이 아닌 세상을 향한 신앙생활입니다.
고여 있지 않고 우리를 필요로 하는 곳으로 향해 주님과 함께 움직입니다.
이것이 우리 몸에 자연스럽게 베어 하나님의 나라, 아름다운 세상이 우리로 부터
다시 시작되길 소망하며 기도하며 나아갑니다.
“For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? (1Corinthians 3:9,16)
In our major fields of study and in our daily lives, we strive to become more mature, “attaining to the
whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” We do not compete with each other. We help each other and
walk together. It is not a church life that takes part in a church building but a life of faith in the world.
Do not stand still but move with our Lord, Jesus Christ for people what they need.
We hope and pray
that this ideal will naturally permeate our bodies and souls,
that the kingdom of God and the beauty of the world
will once again fill our lives.

The Potter’s House
토기장이 집은 운영합니다.
함께 살며 삶 속에서 주님이 빚어 가시는 것을 경험하는
House Church Community 입니다.
- 토기장이 집을 운영합니다.
- 토기장이 집에서는 다음과 같은 것을 행합니다.
- 매일 아침 성경 읽기로 시작합니다.
- 읽은 말씀 옆 사람에게 실천합니다.
- 전공 공부 학교 활동 책임감 있게 성실하게 합니다.
- 예배를 자발적으로 참여하고 방학동안 선교지를 섬깁니다.
The Potter's House is the foundation of the moving church.
It is a house of our Church Community where we live together and
experience what the Lord is making of our lives.
- Those living in the Potter’s House will be expected to:
- Start by reading the Bible every morning.
- Read the word of God and do onto others
what you have read. - Act with responsibilities as a Christian at your field of
major and school activities. - Voluntarily participate in public Worship Services
- Serve in the mission field during period of the vacation.

안녕하세요. 정 에스더 입니다. 저희 움직이는 교회 홈페이지를 방문해 주셔서 감사합니다. 저를 소개 합니다.
저는 하나님을 믿지 않는 37년간의 시간이 있었습니다. 그리고 하나님의 늦은 부름에 감사함으로 순종하며 2009년 7월 M.Div 공부를 위해 미국으로 왔습니다. 미국에 온지 14년의 시간이 흐르는 지금, 저는 Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey에서 길 잃은 양들을 보았고 ‘교회를 세우라’하시는 주님의 음성을 듣고 New Worship Community를 세워가는데 젊은 친구들과 도전하고 있습니다.
미국으로 오기전 저는 전자공학을 전공하고 30살에 전임교수가 되어 14년간 전자공학 교수로 학생들을 가르쳤습니다. 저는 미국에 와서 New York Theological Seminary에서 M.Div.을 졸업했고 CPE(Clinical Pastoral Education) 4units를 마쳤습니다. New Brunswick Theological Seminary에서는 MA in Pastoral Care and Counseling을 졸업했습니다. 또한 PC USA 목사안수를 받았습니다.
결코 과학의 발전이 사람의 마음을 따스하게 만들지 못하고, 광속에 실려오는 정보들이 넘어진 내 옆사람을 일으켜 세워 함께 걸어갈 수 있는 너그러운 마음을 만들지 못한다는 것을 압니다. 우리 젊은 친구들이 4년간 대학에서 전공 공부를 하며 예수 그리스도를 알아가는 자리를 통해 영적 성장이 있기를 소망합니다. 그리고 각 분야로 흩어져 그 자리에서 예수 그리스도의 제자로서 영향력을 미치는 토대가 저희 예수 그리스도 함께 움직이는 교회가 되길 기도합니다.
Hello, my name is Esther Jung, the founder of the Moving Church of Jesus Christ and a spiritual leader. I welcome your visit to our website! Allow me to briefly introduce myself.
After thirty-seven years of not believing in the Lord, I responded, with gratitude, in July 2009, to a Call from Him when I was already a mature individual. After that Call from Him I let go of everything, my whole life and came to America to pursue a Master’s of Divinity degree. Forteen years have now passed since I came to America and I am now at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. While at Rutgers I have encountered many “lost sheep” and this while here I heard the Lord calling me to found a Church. I then took up the challenge to establish a New Worship Community.
Before I received the Call from the Lord and came to America, my field of study had been Electronic Engineering. In that field, by the age of thirty I had become a full-time professor and I had already taught students for fourteen years in the field of Electronic Engineering. After I came to America, I pursued and then graduated with a Master’s in Divinity Degree from the New York Theological Seminary and I also completed four units of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). I later pursued and graduated with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling from The New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Additionally, I ordained from the PC USA (Presbyterian Church USA).
It is my belief that technological advancements cannot warm people’s hearts and information that comes to us at the speed of light cannot create within us the feeling of generosity which is necessary to help those who we meet in life. Just as four years of university study in a major field of study will form the foundation of their careers and expertise, I hope and pray that four years of getting to know the Lord will form the foundation which will influence these students in their respective fields and as disciples of Jesus.
